Security that doesn’t wait for a hurricane
Most break-ins through a front door come down to two weaknesses: glass you can shatter to reach the lock, and a single deadbolt that a firm kick can tear out of the jamb. An impact entry door closes both. The laminated glass behaves like a car windshield — it can craze and crack, but the interlayer holds it together, so there is no hole to reach through and nothing to climb past.
The bigger upgrade is the hardware.
